Fire at Night is 1

We’re slightly late on this- but May 12th marks the anniversary of our live Debut at the sadly-no-longer-with-us Bull and Gate in Kentish Town. So here we are, 34 gigs, 2 radio sessions, 2 EPs and 5 band members later- it’s been a blast.

Massive thanks are in order to everyone who’s helped us out- Bones @ Wicked Boy / Perk, Dean at The New Cross Inn, John at The Good Ship, Indie Bands Blog, Showmesomethingdifferent.com, Whatculture.com, 96.4 The Eagle, 104FM Reading, and everyone who has been to see us play, bought CDs, downloaded our music, streamed us on Spotify, or said something nice about us! It’s all much appreciated.

That’s right, you can now find our EP, ‘The World Will Roll In Ecstasy At your Feet‘ on iTunes, Amazon and Spotify. It’s also on some other sites, but, well… those are the big three really, aren’t they?

Just some news…

Excellent gig last night at The Railway, in Winchester. Massive thanks to everyone who came down, and to the organisers and other bands. We played a few new songs, too, the vigilant amongst you may have noticed…

We’ve had a busy few weeks, with being on the radio, playing a bunch of gigs and meeting tonnes of people… we also had time to release a free Acoustic EP through our bandcamp page, recorded back in December in our near-hometown of Fleet. It’s free to anyone who joins the mailing list, otherwise you can pay a fee of your choice for it. So go check it out.

We are formulating some exciting plans, too. We will keep you posted. Suffice it to say, we’re not slowing down.

Fire At Night on the Radio 17.03.2013

for those of you who missed it, we were on Reading 107FM last night- the show is now on soundcloud to listen to, we played ‘Gravity’ and ‘Dumb’ and did a ten minute (ish) interview.

And if that whets your appetite, we’re playing an acoustic set this Thursday, March 21st at The Albion in Hampton Court. We are also a last-minute addition tho this Saturday’s Day of Rock at Alton Community Centre. We’re on around 5pm, the day starts at 11am and runs to 11pm, with a veritable tonne of bands… so get ye down there and check it out.

Fire at Night live in Stockwell, London this Friday

After a rather raucous affair at Surya last Thursday night we are bringing our unique brand of ambient rock to Stockwell this Friday night (8/03/2012) . There’s a big buzz about this one so be sure to come down for some hard hitting ambient rock.
